Real Intelligence Requires Constant Companionship of its Best Friend--Hard Work!

 WGHS is proud to announce

the completion of its final spelling bee contest

for this year.  

Our 1rst place winner was Brittany Mackey and the runner up was Rodasjsha Hollomon.  These girls went on the the district finals, as is currently posted on the District Web page. They did not place further this year but deserve hearty congratulations for attributes which are perhaps more important, which resulted in them modeling academic excellence !!! They on the one hand took the event and themselves very seriously, as recent test evidence indicates; and on the other hand, had the natural ability to excell---WITH A LOT OF HARD WORK :) We are proud to have young people like these young ladies in our WGHS community, and trust that this will not be the last time we hear about then. Keep up the good work girls !!!
